Crodoc Empire — *slightly larger than Solaris, and currently shaking its hand.*

The Crodoc Empire is a matriarchal imperial polity under an Empress, spanning a multi-system core and a Corridor diaspora that treats universities and shipyards as the same civic religion. Spacers know the brand by three things: the Imperial Navy (best fleet doctrine in the arm, full stop), required education that produces officers who can quote logistics tables from memory, and a formal alliance with the human Solaris Federation that keeps joint patrols polite and prize courts complicated.

Public face: treaty attachés with perfect posture, academy exchange banners, frost-berry wine at diplomatic receptions, and warships that arrive on schedule like an insult to chaos. Private face: rival admirals, intelligence wars, and ambition carefully fenced so the throne never wobbles.

They are not Concord. Concord bills the rings. The Empire fields fleets. Solaris is the ally across the table — slightly smaller on the census, equally loud about charter law.
